CIPS is honored to co-host T20 Task Force 4 on Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture this year. T20 (Think20) is an official engagement group of G20 bringing together leading think tanks and research centers worldwide. Hosted by CSIS Indonesia and LPEM FEB Universitas Indonesia, the T20 Task Forces have the crucial job of providing research-based policy recommendations to the G20 leaders.
Task Force 4 leads the discussions and writing of 15 policy briefs that cover 10 policy areas, from global food chain post-pandemic, digital farming, fisheries, and many more. Serve as a platform to gain insights and feedback from stakeholders, the Task Force was also hosting 15 side events. All the process leads to the drafting of the communique together with the rest of the other task forces.

The concerns to reach food security and sustainable agriculture are echoed by other researchers and think tanks from all over the world. Resulting in 110 policy brief submissions in Task Force 4 alone.
